Rhodri and Gaynor Davies of Rosedew Farm, Llantwit Major, Vale of Glamorgan have been supplying their home grown meat to the public for many years but with an ever increasing demand they opened their ‘Farmers Pantry’ Butchers shop in Llantwit Major and within a matter of months had to move to bigger premises, such was the popularity and demand for their produce. A second shop is now open in Whitchurch, Cardiff.

Sourced predominantly from the Vale of Glamorgan (The Garden of Wales) all the produce – Beef, Pork, Lamb etc. is bought direct from the farms and artisan producers who work to the strictest animal welfare practices. Your meat is matured to perfection before being presented to you in the shops.
Farmers Pantry experienced, skilled butchers have a wealth of knowledge and are available to help and discuss your needs whether its about the succulent sausages they produce, all made from local Vale of Glamorgan meat, or the fact that the Beef Burgers are exactly that, made from prime cuts of … you’ve guessed it Beef!
The Deli-Counters offer a selection of ready-made meals once again all cooked in house from their own produce and offer convenience without compromise.
World food from Welsh Produce! Pies, pasties, bakes and rolls all prepared fresh by their cooks. Of course this would not be complete without a fantastic array of cooked meats.
Dawie Beyers hails from South Africa and has brought with him an extensive knowledge of traditional African Cures and recipes which produce some of the best Biltong and Boerewors you will find outside of Africa and it goes without saying his passion for the Braai (BBQ) is awe inspiring!
